How do I create an account?

How do I track my baby's activities?
Navigate to the Baby Tracker section from the home screen. You can log feeding times (breast, bottle, or solid food), sleep patterns (start/end times), diaper changes (wet, dirty, or both), and other milestones with just a few taps. Each entry can include notes and timestamps.
How do I log a feeding session?
On the home screen, tap the "Quick Add" button on the Feeding card, or go to Baby Tracker and select "Feeding". Choose the feeding type (bottle powder, solid food, breastfeeding left/right), add the amount if applicable, and tap Save. You can also add notes about the feeding.
How do I track sleep?
Tap "Sleep Start" when your baby goes to sleep and "Sleep End" when they wake up. The app automatically calculates the duration. You can also log past sleep sessions by selecting a specific date and time in the Baby Tracker.
Can I edit or delete entries?
Yes! Go to Baby Tracker, find the entry you want to modify, swipe left on it, and choose "Edit" to modify or "Delete" to remove it. Changes sync automatically across your devices.
Can I log activities from earlier times?
Yes! When adding an entry in Baby Tracker, you can tap the time field to select any past date and time. This is perfect for adding entries you forgot to log in real-time.

What is the AI Midwife?
The AI Midwife is your 24/7 virtual assistant powered by advanced AI. It provides evidence-based guidance on pregnancy, newborn care, feeding, sleep, development, and common parenting questions. It's like having an experienced midwife available anytime you need advice.
How do I ask the AI Midwife a question?
Tap "AI Midwife" from the home screen, type your question in the chat box, and send. The AI will respond within seconds with personalized advice. You can ask follow-up questions for more detailed guidance.
Is the AI Midwife reliable? Can it diagnose medical conditions?
The AI Midwife provides general guidance based on established medical knowledge and best practices. However, it is NOT a replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical concerns, emergencies, or personalized medical advice.
Is my conversation with the AI Midwife private?
Yes! Your conversations are encrypted and stored securely. We never share your personal information or chat history with third parties. All data is protected according to our strict privacy policy.
Why isn't the AI Midwife responding?

How do I enable notifications?
Go to Settings → Notifications and toggle "Enable Notifications" on. You may also need to allow notifications in your device settings (iOS: Settings → My Avocado → Notifications, Android: Settings → Apps → My Avocado → Notifications).
How do I set feeding reminders?
Go to Settings → Notifications → Feeding Reminders. Enable the feature and set your preferred reminder interval (e.g., every 2, 3, or 4 hours). The app will notify you when it's time for the next feeding based on your last logged feeding.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Check: 1) Notifications are enabled in app Settings, 2) Device notification permissions are granted for My Avocado, 3) Do Not Disturb mode is off, 4) Your device has a stable internet connection. If issues persist, try reinstalling the app.
Can I customize my notifications?
Yes! In Settings → Notifications, you can customize which notifications you receive, set feeding reminder intervals, and adjust notification preferences to suit your parenting style.

How do I change the app theme color?
Go to Settings → Appearance → Theme Color. Choose from our curated palette of calming colors. The new color will apply immediately throughout the app.
Does the app support dark mode?

Can I export my baby's data?
Yes! Go to Settings → Data Management → Export Data. You can export all your baby's tracking data, including feeding, sleep, diaper logs, and milestones in a downloadable format (CSV/JSON) for your records or to share with healthcare providers.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete All Data. This will permanently remove all baby tracking data from our servers while keeping your account active. Warning: This action cannot be undone. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a backup.
