- Dark mode and language customization
3. Purchase and Payment
My Avocado requires a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play Store. This purchase includes:
- Lifetime access to all app features
- Unlimited usage with no monthly limits (subject to fair use policy)
- All future updates and new features at no additional cost
- No recurring subscriptions or hidden fees
Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective terms and refund policies. Pricing may vary by region and is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to purchase and use the App. Users under 18 must have parental consent. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only by individuals who have made the required purchase.
5. User Accounts
After purchasing the app, you need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and current information
6. Acceptable Use

- Seeking guidance on feeding, sleep, and development
- Generating reports based on your baby's tracking data
- Obtaining general health and wellness information
- Learning about milestones and developmental stages
7.2 Prohibited AI Usage (Abuse)
The following constitute abuse of the AI features and are strictly prohibited:
- Excessive or automated queries (e.g., sending hundreds of messages in a short time)
- Using the AI for purposes unrelated to pregnancy, babies, or childcare
- Attempting to circumvent usage limits or exploit the system
- Sharing or reselling AI responses for commercial purposes
- Using offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language
- Testing or probing the AI system to find vulnerabilities
- Generating content that violates our community guidelines
7.3 Consequences of AI Abuse
If we detect abuse of the AI Midwife or AI Report features, we reserve the right to:
- Issue a warning to your account
- Temporarily restrict access to AI features (e.g., for 24-48 hours)
- Permanently disable AI features for your account while maintaining access to other app features
- In severe cases, terminate your account entirely without refund
We monitor AI usage patterns to ensure fair access for all users. Our automated systems and manual reviews help identify abuse. Decisions regarding AI abuse are at our sole discretion.

- The App is for informational and tracking purposes only
- Content provided, including AI responses, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

- We do not provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations
- The AI Midwife is an educational tool powered by artificial intelligence, not a licensed medical professional
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information from the App
9. Content and Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Content
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and AI models, are owned by My Avocado and are protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the App (baby profiles, tracking data, photos, journal entries, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the App's services.
9.3 Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Delete my Data to remove all your information
- Complete Account Deletion: Email us at support@myavocadoapp.com to permanently delete your account
- Data Transfer: Email us at support@myavocadoapp.com to request a copy of your data
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App. Key points include:
- We use Supabase for secure cloud storage and authentication
- We support Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In
- We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties
- AI conversations are stored securely and used to improve the service
- You can export or delete your data at any time

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of data or information
- Service interruptions or AI feature unavailability
- Decisions made based on AI responses or app information

15. Indemnification
